Office and Cubicle Moving FAQs
- We use installers for all cubicle work.
Yes we can!
We have the cubicles disassembled then move them to the destination on panel carts standing up right.
Yes we can (very carefully)!
Yes, but if we need to carry the furniture up stairs then all office furniture including file cabinets will need to be emptied.
One of our commercial move coordinators will come out to do a walk through. They take an inventory of everything that will be moving. With this information they are able to figure out the volume of your move, what the optimum crew would be and how long it will take to get your office moved to the destination. If we need to have a third party service they will note that in the estimate and set it up before the move.
Before the move day you will get a material delivery of plastic crates or boxes, computer keyboard bags, and labels to label each employee's office furniture and boxes. You may get other materials as well but that's the standard materials. Your move coordinator will come out and do a packing demonstration for the company to ensure everyone knows what to do.
The movers will come in on move day and put down building protection, disassemble and pad wrap all furniture, move it over and set it up in the correct offices at the destination. They know what furniture and boxes go in each office from the labels.
The day before the move make sure all employees have packed their belongings into boxes and labeled each box and each piece of furniture with their office number that was provided to them by their moving team coordinator.
You should first let the move supervisor know. Make sure to document the damage and call customer service the next business day.
Do your research. You want to make sure whichever company you choose to do your move is a qualified commercial moving company. A great resource would be your property manager. They will be able to let you know who are the reputable movers in town. Most buildings have rules for moving and require a Certificate of Insurance. Only insured moving companies will be able to supply a COI.
